By monitoring ground level and axle weight distribution during loading and unloading, TipWeigh issues audio and visual alerts if it detects any risk of overbalancing. Customised setups can also automatically halt tippers in motion before a problem progresses.
Given the heightened safety concerns around the use of vehicles on construction sites, how data from on-vehicle monitoring equipment is accessed is an important consideration. Dash-mounted displays require drivers to be in the cab during loading or tipping, which for many operators nowadays means putting personnel at an unacceptable level of risk.
Thanks to our VPG Connect platform, all data and alerts from VPG Onboard Weighing 1155 systems can be accessed from a smartphone or tablet at a safe distance from the vehicle. VPG Connect communicates with mobile devices via WiFi and also acts as a remote telematics solution, sending a full range of data such as vehicle location, pick up and drop off times, weight measurements and any overload or stability alerts triggered to fleet managers.

LFT 1500 is a legal-for-trade weighing solution approved for trade invoicing from the cab. The load cell-based system is accurate to 20kg on 15,000kg and comes with a range of data transfer options and an in-built electronic data storage device (DSD). It is ideal for a range of bulk delivery applications as well as waste and recycling transportation.
A unique bespoke solution for front-end loaders, our front fork scale is suitable for both in-motion and static weighing. Featuring a rugged fork fitted with a weight sensor that simply bolts in place on the front of the vehicle, the system can record up to 1,500 events in real time, including individual bin weights, total net payload, date, time, pick-up weight and much more.
VPG Connect is a companion product to our BulkWeigh 1155 and TruckWeigh 1155 systems, providing direct data integration to mobile devices via WiFi.
