VPG Connect is an add-on for VPG Onboard Weighing systems such as BulkWeigh and TruckWeigh 1155. It puts the weighing data in the driver's hand on any Android or iOS phone, so they can watch the load from a safe distance where they can see what is happening.
It also gives you direct telematics support. Weighing data goes to your fleet management system in real time, so the office sees the same numbers as the driver.
One set of weights, from the vehicle to the fleet office
Your VPG weighing system measures the load as usual. With VPG Connect Lite, a phone joins the system's own WiFi network and shows gross, net, load and axle weights, plus the vehicle's pitch and roll.
Loading events are sent on to a web-based application. Premium and Platinum add a hardwired telematics unit for tracking, reporting and alarms across the whole fleet.

Because the weights are on a phone, the driver does not need to stay in the cab during loading. They can stand back, see the whole vehicle and still know the load.
